A Morning Assembly is a perfect start to an action packed day. It is a powerful way to affect and motivate both staff and students and sets the love of the day. It is one of most important aspect of a school’s curriculum and adds value to it. Its importance is that it brings all members of a school together, thus creating a sense of community. All students and faculty members focus on one goal that is expressed through the assembly presentation such as – safe driving or abstaining from drugs, etc.

Special Assemblies promote appreciation for the diverse cultures by learning about holidays celebrated in different cultures or special days or commemorating birth anniversaries of great people or acknowledging typical achievements like sports victories, academic awards like Olympiads or inter-house competitions. In GNPS, Punjabi Bagh, we make it a point to celebrate all such special occasions by holding special assemblies on World Athletics Day, World Population Day, international Youth Day, UNO Day, Teachers’ Day, Christmas Day. Commemorating Prakash Utsav of Guru Harkrishan Sahib Ji, Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Guru Govind Singh Ji, and Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s Martyrdom Day and so on.
