WORLD MALARIA DAY

World Malaria Day

As the world grapples with various health challenges, one that continues to affect millions globally is Malaria. Each year, on 25th April , the world unites to observe World Malaria Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness about this preventable and treatable disease. This year, Guru Nanak Public School, Punjabi Bagh also joined the global community in commemorating this important day with a series of events aimed at educating, engaging, and empowering our students to contribute to the fight against malaria.
Slogan Writing Competition:
To start off the day, students from all grades participated in a slogan writing competition. The competition aimed to encourage students to think creatively about ways to raise awareness about malaria prevention and control. 
Quiz Competition:
Following the slogan writing competition, students engaged in a quiz competition focused on malaria-related facts, prevention methods, and global efforts to combat the disease. 
Poster Drawing Contest:
In addition to the slogan writing and quiz competitions, students showcased their artistic talents in a poster drawing contest. The theme of the contest was "End Malaria for Good," and students were tasked with creating visually captivating posters that conveyed the importance of malaria prevention and the need for continued efforts to eradicate the disease.
